Product Description

  • Our new 12" (30 cm) and 24" (60 cm) split tube furnaces include a built-in temperature controller to conserve valuable bench space.
  • Units are flexible enough to be mounted horizontally, remotely, or vertically on our optional floor stand (model AY793X1).
  • Single zone split tube furnaces heat to 1200°C in only 20 minutes.
  • With exposed coil heating elements embedded in state-of-the-art ceramic fiber insulation.
  • 1, 2, and 3 inch tube chamber collars are included.
  • No power cord supplied.
  • Electrical connection requires fixed wiring.
  • No process tubes supplied with furnace.

Operation

  • Choose from 3 temperature control models:
  • - B1: Digital single set point control with a single ramp to set point and a dwell.
  • A single display shows actual temperature or set point. The furnaces that use this control also utilize a mechanical Over Temperature Protection relay.
  • - C1: Digital programmable control with one stored program of 8 segments.
  • The furnaces that use this control also utilize a mechanical Over Temperature Protection relay.
  • - D1: Digital programmable control with 4 stored programs, 16 segments per program.
  • The controller also includes RS232 communications.
  • The furnaces that use this control also utilize a mechanical Over Temperature Protection relay.

Safety

  • A door safety switch turns off power to the heating elements each time the chamber is opened for loading or unloading process tubes.
  • Over temperature protection safeguards valuable research by permitting you to set the desired maximum temperature.
  • Single zone split tube furnaces are guarded with thermocouple break protection.
  • In case of an open circuit, power is cut off to the elements to avoid an over temperature situation.
