Optimize your ultra-low temperature freezer for maximum sample protection.
Your Thermo Scientific Revco ultra-low temperature freezer is a serious investment in the long-term protection of your precious samples.
It may not seem obvious at first, but the choice of your racks and accessories can maximize that investment through operational efficiencies and savings throughout the years.
Maximize the value of your Thermo Scientific Revco ultra-low temperature freezer with intelligent rack solutions and accessories.
Now there’s a way to get exceptionally efficient storage configurations that maximize your productivity while reducing operating costs.
By enabling you to organize your samples for fast retrieval, Thermo Scientific Revco racks minimize the frequency of opening the freezer door and reduce the risk of sample exposure.
And ultra-low-temperature freezers are all about protecting your valuable samples.
Revco racks provide a complete solution for all of your application needs - cryroboxes, microplates, bulk or kits - along with proven reliability and quality you can depend on year after year.
What do I need?
Selecting the appropriate racks for your application starts with two simple questions.
What kinds of samples are you storing?
The best choice of racks is determined by the nature of what you are storing.
Do you need 2-inch or 3-inch boxes for vials?
Do you require microplate storage, for your microboxes and microtubes - and are they deepwell, shallow-well, or a combination?
Do you have a need for bulk storage?
Do you need additional accessories?
Is your freezer an upright or chest unit?
The style of your freezer will next determine the best selection of rack options.
For instance, Thermo Scientific Revco racks with side access and sliding drawers are available for upright freezers and offer unique advantages.
The rack remains stationary and the drawers are light, making it easier to retrieve samples and minimize exposure to ambient conditions.
Generally, racks are designed with specific dimensions and features including handle placement, depending on the style of ultra-low temperature freezer.
Understanding your storage needs upfront and anticipating future requirements will help you determine the best choice of racks and accessories and assure you’ll gain maximum value from your ultra-low temperature freezer.
